Hal, the reason jobs have gone overseas is to make a profit. A business needs to make a profit but w/ the unions demanding more money, more benefits and more time off, w/the government taxing them so much and regulating them to extreme businesses move overseas to where their labor costs are less and their taxes and regulations are less intrusive. All of the GOP candidates get that and promise less taxes and less regulation. Also, the EPA needs it’s wings clipped & the Fed Reserve needs to get back to the job they were created for. Then you will see our businesses come home improvement tips and prosper. Everyone will prosper! So be careful who you vote for this year. I have my favorite GOP candidate but anyone of them, except Paul, would be a great improvement over Obama.

I have always been a sucker for antiques, and the one thing that I hope to add to my future dream home, would be an iron chandelier. I think there are many different styles of chandeliers, but the iron chandeliers are the most beautiful. I was in an antique shop one time, and spotted this beautiful iron chandelier that was made in the early 1940s, and it was absolutely breathtaking, and I honestly could have kicked myself for not buying I for myself, even if I would have to put it in storage until I got my home built. I went back to buy it a week later, and it was gone!

I believe in having a warm, inviting home. That is why I chose 2 in faux wood blinds for my window treatments. Every single room in my house is warm, cozy, inviting and comfortable. I am not a person that stands on any kind of special order when it comes to decorating. I do, however, know what I like and what creates a warm atmosphere. After looking at all the stock cabinets that were available at the local home improvement store, my husband and I decided to talk with a custom cabinet shop to see what the differences would be. We liked many of the stock cabinets but feel that we should educate ourselves about all of the cabinets kitchen design options before making a final decision. The cabinet shop has quite a few more options but they also charge quite a bit more. This will definitely be a tough decision.
