digital grand piano

i remember back in grade school that our church replaced their old grand piano with a new digital grand piano.  i’m not sure why the grand piano went away – it was actually a really nice piano, but perhaps it was on loan.  the digital that ended up replacing it could play “organ” music as well as piano music so maybe that’s why they decided to make the change.  it was kind of cool, i got to play it a few times and it felt a lot like playing a real piano – the keys were weighted so they responded a lot like piano keys.  a digital grand also has one major advantage over the real thing – it doesn’t require an army of people to move the thing.
